Last year a lovely customer reached out to us to remodel a family heirloom ring into a fresher and more contemporary setting, to be worn alongside her engagement ring. 

The original ring featured three gorgeous rubies and four diamonds, so there were plenty of stones to play with. The customers engagement ring was an organic textured gold band with a scattering of flush set diamonds, quite un-traditional, so we knew we wanted to make something that would follow along with this style. 

We rotated the direction of the centre ruby, but kept a similar stone layout to the original ring, so we could keep some of that vintage vibe in the organic setting. The rings turned out to be a beautiful pairing, with a modern, chunky and textured feel that suited the customers style perfectly.
